Make Friends with Your Problems, Quickly!
My beloved child – make friends with your problems and do it quickly! Don’t allow your feelings or emotions which come from the soulish realm to take control. Remember, God is sovereign! He is the One who works all things out according to the counsel of His will. (Ephesians 1:11) In Greek, the word ‘sovereign’ means ‘supreme, highest in power, chief, and supreme authority vested.’ The term ‘vested’ means one who has an assignment of a person.’ Jesus has been assigned to pray and intercede for you and your situation as He presently sits at the right hand of the Father. (Romans 8:34) God has assigned Holy Spirit as your helper, and He will teach you in all things. He is your comforter, counselor, strengthener, the One who stands by you. (John 14:26) Sovereign often refers to Christ the King of Kings! Father God is sovereign over everything and everyone. Only He can fit everything into a pattern for good, however, only to the extent you trust Him. How much do you trust God?
God is sovereign! He is the One in control. If you think you are in control – you are only fooling yourself. He owns everything. You may believe you own your home and belongings, but ultimately, they are His, and you are not taking them with you when you die. He is a jealous God and will have nothing before Him. (Exodus 34:14) He has been speaking to me about detaching from everything and clinging to Him only. I am doing just that! For months I have prayed and grieved because many people I love across the nations have experienced significant loss and pain in many ways. Loss is loss! One person in four in the state of Texas alone has suffered loss during the recent ice storm. Your loss may not be the same as others, but you still experience the pain.
After the destruction from the ice storm recently, I am going into my home daily, ‘declaring with joy: (James 1:2-4) – Hello Problems, I call you my friend – I release you into God’s hands and I can’t wait to see how God is going to turn this around for my good and His glory! (Romans 8:28) I am expecting a miracle! I ask the Father to show up on your behalf and give you a miracle now! When was the last time you called your problems your friends? Every problem is meant to teach you something. What are you learning walking through this trial? If you react to God the Father in fear, the problem can quickly turn into a stumbling block that will cause you to fall. It’s your choice, trust God or don’t trust Him and try to hang on to the battle of control. You are not in control. If you think you are, you are only fooling yourself. Trust God and give Him your problems!
Pray with me:
Father, I thank you for the problems You have brought my way, to teach me greater patience and help me grow – trusting You. I thank you even at this moment when it doesn’t look like it; You are working all these things out for my good and Your glory. Thank you, Father, for catapulting me right into my prophetic destiny in the all-powerful name of Jesus Christ the Messiah. Now, Go ahead and prophecy your future. Prophecy your vision!
