Spiritual Weapons

Beloved one you will shift the atmosphere no matter where you go when you sing praises unto God. Have you ever been in a situation you could not sing out loud? You can shift the atmosphere where you are when you sing in the spirit out loud or silently!
1.    Praise is a weapon of warfare, and deliverance.

God has given you spiritual weapons to use:
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty to the pulling down of strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:4-5) That means these weapons are not of the flesh, and we cannot see our enemy in the flesh. You can’t shoot or cut your enemy with a sword. You can’t outsmart your enemy; you must use your spiritual weapons God has given you. One powerful weapon is the Word of God. Speak the Word only. When you speak the Word only you are getting in agreement with God.
2.    The Word of God is a weapon.

The Word of God is alive, active, and powerful. For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints, and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12 NIV) Speak God’s Word and stop the enemy in his tracks. Be watchful! Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking who he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8) No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. (Isaiah 54:17)
3.    There is power in the blood.

I don’t know about you, but I love the old hymnals about the blood. Last year at the Pennsylvania Women’s Retreat 17 women asked to be baptized. As we gathered around the ‘Promise Pond’ in cold 40-50 degree pouring rain someone took a speaker and we began singing ‘There’s Power in the Blood.’ Can I just tell you the anointing fell and hovered over that pond during the baptism and the water was not as cold as I thought it would be. I believe God warmed that water for us!
4.    There is power in the name of Jesus

Submit yourself to God, resist the devil and he will flee. (James 4:7) You believe in God, even demons believe and tremble. (James 2:19) The devil knows the power in the name of Jesus, do you? The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!” (Luke 10:17) I am reminded of a testimony Smith Wigglesworth shared about travelling across the world to pray for a man on his death bed in a coma. He had no clue what was wrong with this man. When he arrived, it was late in the evening and he sat by this mans bed the entire night and prayed. The only thing he prayed was Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! All night long he spoke the name of Jesus. At 8:00 in the morning the man got up, got dressed and walked right out of the hospital without saying a word! There is power in the name of Jesus. Call upon the name of Jesus! He will hear you, answer you and show you great and mighty things you know not of! (Jeremiah 33:3) This is my phone number to Jesus!

The enemy is afraid of your praise! Praise is a mighty weapon, use it! Breakthrough will come through your praise!

5.    Put on the whole armor of God.

Get up every morning and put on the whole armor of God! Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
Use your spiritual weapons and defeat the enemy shifting the atmosphere around you!
