A Glorious Battle Cry
Precious one, have you sensed the atmosphere has changed in the last two years or so? People are apprehensive. I have had many contact me struggling with the spirit of fear asking for prayer. It is obvious things are not as they used to be. You must shift the atmosphere in your life. Your words are powerful, speak the Word. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4) Get your eyes fixed on Jesus and ask Him to bring heaven to earth in your life. Matthew 6:10 says the atmosphere of the Kingdom of God is ‘righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.’ (Romans 14:17) Heaven’s air is fresh. I ask the Holy Spirit to breathe on you now. Refreshing wind of the Holy Spirit breath on the one reading this right now. Breath on you! Receive the breath of God as He blows a refreshing wind of the Holy Spirit on you.
There is a glorious battle cry that is going up before the throne of God through His people. A battle cry is a call or a shout that rallies an army, one that can swiftly take their position at once. Let me share with the times a battle Cry helped to win an impossible war from the Bible:
When Joshua led the Israelite army against Jericho, their battle cry was one final shout of victory (see Joshua 6:20).

Later, when Gideon led his small band against the Midianites, this was their cry: “The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon!” (Judges7:20)
Then, there was the unusual case of King Jehoshaphat of Judah. He sent a choir ahead of the army singing, “Praise the LORD, for His mercy endures forever.” (2 Chronicles 20:21)

Judah didn’t have to engage in that battle, even though the odds were against them! As God moved, their enemies turned against each other.

1.   Praise is a weapon of warfare and deliverance.

God has given you spiritual weapons:

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty to the pulling down of strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:4-5)

That means we are not dealing with flesh and blood, and we cannot see our enemy in the flesh. You can’t shoot or cut your enemy with a sword. You can’t outsmart the enemy. We must use our spiritual weapons. Weapon number one is: ‘praise the Lord.’ Get your praise on! When I am under attack by the enemy, I start singing praises unto God as loud ask I can. That shakes the devil up! He doesn’t understand. He’s attacking me and I am praising God. He will turn tail and run away from me every time! So, the next time you are under attack stop what you’re doing and start singing praises unto God! Watch the enemy run! (James 4:7)

In 2 Chronicles 20 vast armies were coming against Judah. The angel of the Lord appeared to Jehoshaphat and told him to take his position. He knew exactly what to do! He fell face to the ground and began to worship God. Every man, woman, and child did likewise. God instructed Jehoshaphat in what he was to do. He sent the praisers out before them and they began to sing, ‘praise ye the Lord, His mercy endureth forever and ever’ and confused the enemy. The enemy literally turned on themselves and killed each other. Judah didn’t even have to lift a finger, why? Because it was not their battle. This battle belonged to the Lord! The battle you are facing right now, ‘it’s not your battle! This battle belongs to the Lord. You won’t even have to lift a finger, only be still. (Exodus 14:14)

Praise is your glorious battle cry, and it will shift the atmosphere!
