Today is the Holiest Day of the Year
“Three times a year you are to celebrate a festival to me. “Celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread; for seven days eat bread made without yeast, as I commanded you. Do this at the appointed time in the month of Aviv, for in that month you came out of Egypt. “No one is to appear before me empty-handed. “Celebrate the Festival of Harvest with the first fruits of the crops you sow in your field. “Celebrate the Festival of Ingathering at the end of the year when you gather your crops from the field. “Three times a year all the men are to appear before the Sovereign Lord.
(Exodus 23:14-17)
My child many do not understand what Yom Kippur – The Day of Atonement was and is. It is the holiest day of the year! It is to be celebrated throughout history and you are to teach it to your children’s children through generations. The United States honors and celebrates Passover and Pentecost but you do not hear anything about honoring or celebrating the Day of Atonement/Yom Kippur. (Deuteronomy 16:1-15) The Day of Atonement is the holiest Day of the Year. “Each year we must celebrate these three festivals: the Festival of Unleavened Bread (Passover), the Festival of Harvest (Pentecost), and the Festival of Shelters (Day of Atonement). On each of these occasions, all men must appear before the Lord your God at the place he chooses, but they must not appear before the Lord without a gift for him. All must give as they are able, according to the blessings given to them by the Lord your God.
(Deuteronomy 16:16-15) ‘No one is to appear before me empty-handed. (Exodus 23:15) God calls these offerings First Fruits holy unto the Lord. And the priest/ordained minister of the gospel/pastor is to bless your Offering as a wave offering unto the Lord. (Leviticus 23:9-11) It is a day of rest.
All this happened at the same time in history when King Jesus came to Jerusalem and died as the final sacrifice for your sins. (Hebrews 9:11-12, 15) He was nailed on an old rugged cross and shed His blood for your sins to be forgiven and on the third day He arose ascending to Heaven and today He is seated at the right hand of Your Heavenly Daddy. (Hebrews 10:10-18) That was around the year 30 AD. You have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Christ Jesus once and for all – after you have had an encounter with Him being born again! (Hebrews 10:18-22) The Rabbi’s documented that this change took place at Jesus the Messiah’s death – a sign of history written in scarlet that the final atonement has absolutely taken place, that the guilty become innocent, and that Jesus has cleansed the sins of the past – our sins were as scarlet – have indeed become white as snow! (Isaiah 1:18) Do you see all the sins of your life and mistakes you have made have been tuned from scarlet to white? See all your sins and mistakes of your life are under the blood, now shake them off. Seek to live daily life free of sin!
