8 Character Traits to Achieve Your Dreams
and Reach Your Goals
Part 1.
Beloved when you recapture your dreams, seven- character traits are formed within. When Moses recaptured his vision, change began taking place. In the beginning, he was existing, but when God gave him purpose and fire in his heart to fulfill this purpose, he became a new person! You will become a new person when you recapture your dream! When God adds His super to your natural, you will change and have a new outlook for the future. Moses began holding fast the dream tightly with force, and nothing, and nobody could take it away from him. The enemy of his destiny threw obstacle after obstacle in his way, but it didn’t stop him, he was a man with a mission! You may go through the phase, ‘who am I’ that God would send me to do such a task, but the God in you is bigger than anything you encounter. Once you recapture the dream God has for you, seven-character traits are given:
1. Identity – Vision establishes identity.
God said to Moses, ‘Go now, I am calling you to confront Pharaoh, you must lead My people out of Egypt. (Exodus 3:10)
2. Vision gives you hope for the future.
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. (Jeremiah 29:11-13)
3. Authority – Vision establishes authority.
Moses protested, “If I go to the people of Israel and tell them, ‘The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,’ they will ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what should I tell them?” So, God said, ‘Tell them, ‘I Am’ has sent me. (Exodus 3:13-14)
4. Credibility – Vision establishes credibility.
Moses said, ‘But God, what if they don’t believe me? Then God asked him what was in his hand. Moses said a staff! God said, ‘Throw it down!’ He did, and it became a snake. God said, ‘pick it up by the tail with your hand. He did, and it became a staff again. God told him to perform this act, so they will believe the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob has sent him. You have credibility with God. (Exodus 4:1-5)
Have You lost hope for the future? Pray and ask God to give you a vision of your future. He will. Vision and purpose are exciting to the soul. It will get you up early and keep you up late! If you are reading this, that means you are still breathing – God has a plan for you but you must pursue Him to find out what it is!
