How to Recognize True Prophecy
This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
(2 Corinthians 13:1 KJV)

My beloved child, when a word is spoken over you in the due season, how wonderful is it? (Proverbs 15:23) You needed that word at that time to encourage you, and God knew that. Are you aware you can prophesy; how do I know that? (1Timothy 1:14) Paul is talking to Timothy and says, “Do not neglect the spiritual gift you received through the prophecy which was spoken over you when the elders of the church laid their hands on you?” When the elders of the church lay hands on you and prophecy, it’s called a Prophetic Presbytery. God spoke in Genesis 1, and He is still speaking in Revelation 22, He talked all through the Bible. Perhaps you have had a bad experience with the prophetic, and it was not God – I am sorry – they are just humans and humans make mistakes. There are three keys to true prophecy:
1.    True prophecy is accurate.
2.    True prophecy is encouraging
3.    True prophecy comes to pass.
One of the most accurate prophetic words in the Bible spoken person to person, ‘This is when Samuel learned how to hear the voice of God at a young age, to Saul. Saul had gone looking for some donkeys his father had lost and said, ‘let’s go see if the prophet knows anything.” Listen to this scripture and think about its accuracy and how God knows every detail of your life. (In Greek verse 1 reads over Israel.) So, you (Saul be appointed King) will rule over the Lord’s people and save them from their enemies around them – and this will be the sign to you that the Lord has appointed you to be leader over his special possession. (1 Samuel 10:1) When you leave me today, you will see two men beside Rachel’s tomb at Zelzah, on the border of Benjamin. They will tell you that the donkeys have been found and that your father has stopped worrying about them and is now worried about you. He is asking, ‘Have you seen my son?’ “When you get to the oak of Tabor, you will see three men coming toward you who are on their way to worship God at Bethel. One will be bringing three young goats, another will have three loaves of bread, and the third will be carrying a wineskin full of wine. They will greet you and offer you two of the loaves, which you are to accept.
“When you arrive at Gibeah of God, where the garrison of the Philistines is located, you will meet a band of prophets coming down from the place of worship. They will be playing the harp, a tambourine, a flute, and a lyre, and they will be prophesying. At that time, the Spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them. You will be transformed into a different person. (1 Samuel 10:2-6) What an accurate word! When God speaks, and you agree with God, His Word has the power to change your life. When God said, ‘Let there be life, and there was light.’ Have you ever noticed, that when God wants something, He speaks? So, if He wants something for your life and He speaks it, the power of God is there within you now, so you can see it come to pass. You already have everything you need! The Word of God can entirely change your life. God’s Word is accurate, and it’s probably the most powerful because in the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. (2 Corinthians 13:1) God always confirms His Word with two or three witnesses, and that is the unity of the Holy Spirit.
