The Secret of Being at Peace
My child, stop trying to work things out before it’s time. To everything, there is an opportune time or a right time, which is My time. Don’t fight My plan – for you will only delay the process and make it difficult creating stress on yourself. Relax and go with My flow for your life then you will find peace and enjoyment in your journey. (John 16:33) I planned your life, your children’s life, and your grandchildren’s life from the end to the beginning from the foundations of the earth. (Isaiah 46:10) I am your Shepherd and you shall lack for nothing! (Psalms 23:1) Nothing catches Me by surprise! For everyone there is a time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to reap; a time to kill and a time to heal; a time to destroy and a time to build; a time to cry and a time to laugh; a time to grieve and a time to dance; a time to make love and a time to abstain from it; a time to embrace and a time to separate; a time to search and a time to count your losses; a time to hold on and a time to let go; a time to tear and a time to mend; a time to be quiet and a time to speak; a time to love and a time to hate; a time for war and a time for peace. There is a time for everything and every activity under heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)
Accept the limitations of living one day at a time. When something comes to your attention, ask Me whether it is part of today’s plan? Release it into My care and go on about today’s responsibilities. When you follow this practice, there will be a beautiful simplicity about your life – a time for everything, and everything in its time. Living close to Me is not complicated. Focusing on My Presence, and I will keep you in perfect peace when you trust Me and keep your thoughts fixed on Me. (Isaiah 26:3) Meditate on My Word day and night not the cares of this world. When you think about the scripture you will discover the peace of God that passes all understanding will flow through your veins from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet encompassing your whole body. (Joshua 1:7-9) After meditating on My Word, you will discover the things that once caused you to worry now lose their power over you. My gift to you is peace, won’t you receive it! (John 14:27)
