Your Sins and Your Ancestors Will Impact Your Children
and the Future Generations!
Wake-Up and Break the Curses
I lavish My unfailing love on a thousand generations. I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin. But I do not excuse the guilty. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children and grandchildren; the entire family is affected – even children in the third and fourth generations.” (Exodus 34:7 NLT)
My beloved child generational sins committed by both parents will impact your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren for four generations unless you break the curses of your own sins and the sins of your ancestors. It’s simple, repent for your own sins, then repent for the sins of your ancestors then break the curse and make the decision to live out and obey All God’s commands. Be a role model of Jesus to your family! Ask yourself before you do anything, ‘would Jesus do this?’ We are commanded to be holy as He is holy. (1 Peter 1:16) Begin reading the Word of God daily. The Word washes and sanctifies your mind/heart and spirit. (Ephesians 5:26) Spend time in God’s presence daily. When you have been in the presence of the Most-High God your skin will glow, and the light of Christ will shine all around you from the glory of God. Moses had such an experience!
The Lord said to Moses, “Cut two tablets of stone like the first ones, and I will write on these tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you broke. (Exodus 43:1 NKJV) Be ready in the morning to climb Mount Sinai and get set to meet Me on top of the mountain. Not a soul is to go with you; the whole mountain must be clear of people and all animals.” (Exodus 34:2-3 Message) He got up early in the morning and climbed Mount Sinai as God had commanded him, carrying the two tablets of stone. God came down in a cloud and stood there with him and called out His own name, Yahweh. The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out, Yahweh! “The Lord! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness. I lavish My unfailing love on a thousand generations. I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin. But I do not excuse the guilty. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children and grandchildren; the entire family is affected – even children in the third and fourth generations.” (Exodus 34:4-7)
“You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected-even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me. (Deuteronomy 5:8-9 NLT) The consequences of sin are death. (Romans 6:23) When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. (Romans 5:12 NLT)
The antidote for sin has always been repentance. (1 John 1:9) When Israel turned from their wicked ways of serving idols and repented of their sins to serve the Living God, the curse was broken, and God saved them. (Judges 3:9, 15) When there are sinful lifestyles in the bloodline, it is likely the children will practice the same sins. They choose to repeat the sins of their parents as rebellious children. However, you can choose to stop the curse with you and break the curse off yourself, your children, and your grandchildren by repenting of the sins, iniquities, and transgressions. Severing at the root and renouncing the sins and consecrating yourself. Through repentance, you are a new creation in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17) Break the cycle today and be free! When you repent of these bloodline curses, you free yourself and your children and grandchildren from now till Jesus comes!
