Your Prayers Go Up and
Then the Answer is Sent Back to Earth
Precious one, God has been speaking to me strongly over the last few weeks about the value of our prayers. He has awakened me many nights lately around 3:00-3:30 a.m. for two hours to pray with urgency. If you are awakened in the middle of the night, it is the Holy Spirit awakening you to pray! One night recently the Holy Spirit woke me up and said, ‘it is essential that you pray for your daughter, grandson, granddaughters, your great-grandson, and family from now till Jesus comes. Why? Because your prayers continue long after you are gone! If I am awakened in the middle of the night I pray for my family, spiritual family, and those close to me. If I don’t know who or what I am praying for, I pray in the spirit until I have peace. You have no idea what you are preventing from happening in their lives through the power of prayer. Your prayers are powerful and there is a special ‘dunamis’ power when you pray in agreement with the Word and agree with what God said! I am blessed to be alive and a part of my great-grandson’s life – he’s two years old, but only God knows if I will be here when he becomes a father. However, I do know my prayers going up for my family and spiritual family now will continue long after I am gone and will impact their lives.
We do not have a clue how powerful our prayers are in the spiritual and natural realm. I met someone for lunch recently, we get together frequently to pray for the requests that come in through the Ministry, and I shared with her my heart and what God had been saying about our prayers. She said, ‘well yeah, our prayers are kept in bowls in Heaven then come to earth.’ For some reason, those scriptures did not stand out to me all these years. I came home and I began searching the Bible, I wanted to know more about this. These two scriptures leaped off the page: ‘Golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.’ (Revelations 5:8)
‘‘The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth!’
(Revelations 8:4-5)
What an incredible word picture! When you pray, you are filling up the golden prayer bowls in Heaven. Then in God’s perfect timing, your prayers are mixed with the fire of God and thrown back to the earth to shift the atmosphere to change or save lives. Your prayers are not just going out into thin air, they go up like an incense (a beautiful aroma) before the throne of God. Have you ever felt like your prayers are not effective? Stop allowing the devil to put that thought in your mind. Your prayers are being collected in large golden bowls in Heaven and when they are full, they will tilt and pour out answers to every one of your prayers! What a game-changer! Makes me want to fall on my face before Abba Father and pray even more.

Don’t stop praying for that family member who has no identity and believes they are the opposite sex; the devil is a liar and the Father of lies. God desires to give them His identity! Don’t stop praying for your loved one who has lost their way and is serving an addiction, God desires to deliver and save them! Pray! Don’t stop praying for your loved one who is ill, God wants to heal them! God has delivered my homosexual niece! I walked in the love of Christ and prayed for her for more than 20 years. It is the goodness of God that draws people to repentance. (Romans 2:4) I prayed for her, walked in love of Christ, I did not judge her, and God delivered her when the bowl of my prayers was full in Heaven it tipped and was thrown back to earth, and she was saved, delivered, and set free. She serves God today! God wants to do the same through you! PRAY! Then pray some more, and don’t stop praying until you see the answers!
