Passover
My child just before Passover and a few days after I raised Lazarus from the dead Martha prepared a dinner in My honor with the disciples. Lazarus joined us. Mary came with an expensive jar of perfume that would cost $20,000 today. She poured it on My feet and dried My feet with her hair preparing Me for burial. (John 12:1-7) The enemy of generosity is selfishness. Notice: generosity begins with a G and Satan begins with an S - God is generous and Satan is selfish. You are all born with a selfish nature until you are born again and give your lives completely to Me. (Ephesians 2:1-4) Have you ever seen small children playing and suddenly you hear a child scream MINE? Usually, a younger child is trying to take what belongs to an older child.
The only time I refer to MINE is when I refer to the Tithe. The Tithe belongs to Me! The Tithe is 10% of everything you make. (Leviticus 27:30) “I am God-yes, I Am. I haven’t changed. And because I haven’t changed, you haven’t been destroyed. You have a long history of ignoring my commands. You haven’t done a thing I’ve told you. Return to me so I can return to you,” says God-of-the-Angel-Armies. “You ask, ‘But how do we return?’ “Begin by being honest. Do honest people rob Me? But you rob Me day after day. “You ask, ‘How have we robbed you?’ “The tithe and the offering that’s how! And now you’re under a curse – All of you – because you’re robbing me! Bring your full tithe to the storehouse sowing in good fertile soil so there will be ample provision to reach lost souls and build the Kingdom of God. Test me in this and see if I don’t open heaven itself to you and pour out blessings beyond your wildest dreams. (Malachi 3:8-10) Are you selfish or generous in your giving? There are three levels of giving:
1. Tithe
2. Offerings
3. Extravagant Offerings
Only 5-7% of the population make it to the first level, yet they do not understand why they have financial problems! Are you a thief and a robber? You may say absolutely no way, but let Me ask you this, are you a tither and a giver? If your answer is no, then you are a robber and do not give to Me what first belongs to Me yet you want Me to bless you. Passover, Pentecost, and Day of Atonement are the three holidays I have commanded you to honor with your Tithe/First Fruits Offerings. (Leviticus 16, 23:26-32, Hebrews 9:11-12, Exodus 23:14-16, 34:18-23, Deuteronomy 16:16) Start this Passover outright by honoring My commands and watch Me bless your socks off!
