Blessing Others, Don’t Curse Them
My child, “to you who are ready for the truth, I say this: Love your enemies. Let them bring out the best in you, not the worst. (Luke 6:27-29) When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the energies of prayer for that person. If someone slaps you in the face, stand there and take it. If someone grabs your shirt, giftwrap your best coat and make a present of it. If someone takes unfair advantage of you, use the occasion to practice the servant life. (Romans 12:14-15) No more tit-for-tat stuff. Live generously. (2 Corinthians (9:6-8) When My people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality. Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. (Romans 12:11-13) Be alert My servants, cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard times, pray all the harder. Help needy Christians; be inventive in hospitality. Again, I say: ‘Bless your enemies; no cursing under your breath. (Matthew 5:44) You will be the one to inherit the blessing when you bless those who do you wrong. Laugh with your happy friends when they’re happy; share tears when they’re down.  Get along with each other; don’t be stuck-up. Make friends with nobodies; don’t be the great somebody.’ (Romans 12:14-19)
