Do You Have Ridiculous Faith?
Then—look! Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a sleeping mat. They tried to push through the crowd to Jesus but couldn’t reach him. So, they went up on the roof above him, took off some tiles, and lowered the sick man down into the crowd, still on his sleeping mat, right in front of Jesus. (Luke 5:18-20 TLB)
My child, stop limiting Me! Make up your mind: do you believe My Word or are you going to live your life by your circumstances? I created you to live above your challenges, not to go through them. Live with the attitude of the four men lifting the man on the stretcher down through the roof. Their attitude toward their friend revealed their faith. “We have carried you too far and we are not carrying you back home! We brought you here to get your healing and we are not leaving until you are healed!” You have come too far to turn back now! (Luke 5:18-20) These men had ridiculous faith, do you?
Stop looking at your journey and start looking at your destination. Don’t look in the rearview mirror, you’re not going that way! I have a blessing with your name on it - right in the middle of adversity. “Surely blessing I will bless you and multiplying I will multiply you.” (Hebrews 6:14) If you must tear a hole in the roof to get your breakthrough, do whatever is necessary! Don’t quit! Press in to receive your blessing. Though we are all pressed on every side by troubles, but not crushed and broken. We are all perplexed because we don’t know why things happen as they do, but we don’t give up and quit. We are hunted down, but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going. These bodies of ours are constantly facing death just as Jesus did; so, it is clear to all that it is only the living Christ within who keeps us safe. (2 Corinthians 4:8-12)
Challenges always reveal what is on the inside of you. It’s the adversity that lets you know how desperate you are for all Jesus has for you. You don’t know what you’re capable of until you face a crisis. A crisis or adversity produces patience to endure to the end; it pushes you through to your destiny. You are being forced to make a decision that is going to catapult you right into your destiny. Remove all the limitations, take the limits off Me even if you must tear a hole in the roof so I can show up and do what only I can do for you! I am the God of all creation and all flesh; there is nothing too difficult or too hard for Me. (Jeremiah 32:17) There is no limit to what I desire to do for you! A ‘suddenly’ is about to show up at your house, and when it does, I will turn everything around for your good and My glory. (Romans 8:28) Use your ridiculous faith!
