The Word is a Flashlight
My beloved child My Word is a lamp unto your feet and a flashlight on your path. (Psalms 119:105) You’re only truly happy when you walk in total integrity, walking in the light of My holy Word. What joy overwhelms everyone who keeps My ways, those who seek Me as their heart’s passion! (Psalms 119:1-2) I am the ‘I am.’ I desire for you to spend time in My presence for the sheer pleasure of spending time with Me. Take hold of My hand and allow Me to lead you in every step of your day. For I Jehovah Yahweh direct the steps of the godly and I delight in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for I hold them by the hand. (Psalms 37:23-24) Why do I cover and protect My children, because I love them! I take note when you love Me, obey My commands, and walk and talk with Me throughout your day.
David is a role model of worship. No, he was not perfect. He missed the mark, but he was quick to repent and quick to obey! He was a man after My own heart. (1 Samuel 13:14) David worshipped the Me, Jehovah Yahweh with passion, and I long for you to worship Me with passion!
Pray this with me as your worship to the Great I am:
Father God, creator of the universe, God of my life, I cry out to you passionately, I’m lovesick for You in this weary land. I thirst with the deepest longings to love You more, with cravings in my heart that can’t be described. Such yearning grips my soul for You, my God! I’m energized every time I enter Your heavenly sanctuary to seek more of Your power and drink in more of Your glory. For Your tender mercies mean more to me than life itself. How I love and praise You, God! Daily I will worship You passionately and with all my heart. My arms will wave to You like banners of praise. (Psalms 63:1-4) I overflow with praise when I come before You, for the anointing of Your presence satisfies me like nothing else. You are such a rich banquet of pleasure to my soul. I lie awake each night thinking of You and reflecting on how You help me and provide for me like a father. I sing through the night under Your splendor-shadow, offering up to You my songs of delight and joy! With passion I pursue and cling to You. Because I feel your grip on my life, I keep my soul close to Your heart. (Psalms 63:5-8) I love You Father God, hear My love cry for You this day!
