God is Present!
I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! (Psalms 139:7 NLT)
My precious child I the Lord Your God am omnipresent – I am always everywhere. Nothing in all creation is hidden from Me. Everything is naked and exposed before My eyes, and I am the One to whom you are accountable. (Proverbs 15:3 & Hebrews 4:13) You cannot go anywhere to get away from My Spirit or flee from My presence. (Psalms 139:7) In fact, I am present right now, I am in the room with you – do you feel My presence in a tangible way? My presence will go with you. I am with you, and I will go with you everywhere you go, and I will not leave you until I have fulfilled all My promises. (Genesis 28:15) I am the One who gives you peace and rest. (Exodus 33:14) Seek Me, and you will find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:12-13) Then I will make known to you the path of life you are to take – for, in My presence, you will be full of joy. (Psalms 16:11) Always follow the path of peace, for that is where you will find Me.
I gave Jonah (meaning dove) instructions and showed him the path I planned for him. Commissioning him to go to Ninevah to warn the people judgment is coming. He rebelled and consequently ended up miraculously back on the Mediterranean coast via the belly of a great fish. Then he cried out to Me in repentance, ‘O Lord, you have driven me from Your presence. Yet I will look once more toward Your holy Temple.’ In his repentance, I snatched him from the jaws of death! He then cried, ‘as my life was slipping away, I remembered You O’ Lord, and in earnest prayer, I cried out to You in Your holy Temple – My salvation comes from You O’ Lord alone.’ (Jonah 2:1-7) He went to Ninevah, and the people repented. (Jonah 3:5-10) I have a great plan for you. (Jeremiah 29:11)
Many years ago, I had a vision of a boat tied to the dock and I was sitting in it. It was a beautiful day; the temperatures were perfect and there a cool breeze that swept over me. Suddenly, the Holy Spirit said, get out of the boat and launch out in the deep. The Holy Spirit said it again, ‘get out the boat and launch out into the deep. If you choose to stay in the boat, I will send a storm that will force you out of the boat! You can go the easy way, or you can go the hard way, but either way, you are going. He also said, ‘Peter got out of the boat and walked on water, and when he began to sink, I caught him – I did not let him drown and I won’t let you down! (Matthew 14:22-33) Guess what? I got out of the boat! This is a word for somebody reading this today, God is saying to you, ‘get out of the boat – you can go the easy way, or you can go the hard way – but either way you are going! I got out and sloshed around for a little bit and discovered the water wasn’t that deep – it was only an illusion!
Isn’t that what the enemy does to us? He’s a liar and tries to inflict fear in us to keep us from doing what God has called us to do. The fear is false evidence appearing real. It’s an illusion! Just step out and trust God more that you listen to the lies of the enemy. God is omnipresent, and He will not let you fail. He is always with you. You are not alone! He will never leave you or forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6, 8) The Holy Spirit says to you today, “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite – genuinely sorry for their sin and humble. I restore the crushed Spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts. (Isaiah 57:15) I am close to those who are broken-hearted, and I save those whose spirits are crushed. (Psalms 34:18) Only in My presence can your soul be healed and restored! I invite you to spend time in My presence and be My friend! I am Omnipresent!
