Break the Record
True, some of them (Jews) were unfaithful; but just because they were unfaithful, does that mean God will be unfaithful? Of course not! Even if everyone else is a liar, God is true. As the Scriptures say about him, “You will be proved right in what you say, and you will win your case in court.” (Romans 3:4 NLT)
My precious child if you have been taught to hate yourself that is abuse! You have an unloving spirit toward self. Most people who have an unloving spirit toward themselves – when you make a mistake, you are harder on you than anyone else could be. If that’s you, it’s time for you to stop being tormented by the people who reject you. Next, to God, you ought to be your own best friend. If you reject yourself, you are calling God a liar. (Numbers 23:19) Not loving yourself comes from being a victim. The accuser wants you to feel guilt and shame, (Revelation 12:10) but love covers a multitude of sin. (1 Peter 4:8) An unloving spirit makes you feel unclean, unworthy and like you don’t measure up. If you were abused, I am sorry but being abused does not define you. The evidence that you have an unloving spirit is you don’t like what you see when you look in the mirror; you feel like you never measure up or don’t think others like you. It’s time for you to take back your identity as the apple of God’s eye. (Zechariah 2:8)
If you are trying to fit in, guess what you are never going to fit in because you are a son/daughter of the King and royal blood flows through your veins, and you are not going to fit in because you are a somebody. (1 Peter 2:9-10) You are special. You are the betrothed bride of Christ without spot, wrinkle or blemish. (2 Corinthians 11:2) Stop living in the shadow of your parents. Don’t dwell on what your mom said, what your dad said or what your spouse said. I break the record that keeps going off in your mind. What does God say? He is the overwhelming majority. You have trusted generational programming, and it got you to the wrong place – now you’re here. Let go of what you know and receive nothing but God’s Word which is the truth and it is the truth that will set you free! (John 8:32) Find scriptures regarding who you are in Christ Jesus and begin meditating on them. When the devil lies to you, tell him, ‘I am the apple of Daddy God’s eye!’ You fell devil; I didn’t!
Stop taking things personally. It’s time to take your life back. You were fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of Christ. (Psalms 139:1-18) An unloving spirit is the greatest bondage known to, and it’s there because you have been rejected, beginning in your own family. Father God is going to keep you from those who rise against you because you have captured His attention. The eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. (1 Peter 3:12) God loves you with an everlasting love. He will never leave you or forsake you. He is with you, and He goes with you everywhere you go, and He will not leave you until He has fulfilled all His promises. (Genesis 28:15)
