Living Victoriously!
My child for the weapons of our warfare is not carnal by mighty through the pulling down of strongholds. (11 Corinthians 10:4) The keyword in this scripture is ‘Warfare’ and it means in the Greek ‘strategy’. Satan is roaming up and down the earth, seeking whom he may devour. (Job 1:7, 2:2) He is the enemy of your destiny and plans continuous attacks to wear you out. His assaults are well thought out and strategically planned, so be wise and seek council from Me. His plan is to steal, kill and destroy you and those you love. (John 10:10)
The devil plans a line of attacks, he just has to decide which method he’s going to use. He chooses the method of approach he wants to use as he cautiously charts a well-thought-out assault. But the Holy Spirit will give you a strategy that is superior to any schemes of the devil. “For though you live in the world, you do not wage war as the world does. The weapons you fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. You must demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)
The Holy Spirit always holds the key to victory, and He wants to provide you with a divinely inspired strategy that will render the enemy of your destiny powerless and defeated every time. Use your sword! (Deuteronomy 6:6-7) Hide the Word of God in your heart. (Psalms 119:11) Your Sword is the Word of God which is quicker, sharper, and more powerful than any two-edged sword, it will pierce through and divide soul and spirit, bone and marrow, and reveal the very intents of your heart. (Hebrews 4:12)
So, make sure you hide the Word of God in your heart then when the enemy comes sniffing around you can take him out with the Word of God hidden in your heart. Are you presently challenged with the attacks of the enemy? Stop where you are and spend time in prayer daily, ask Me for a battle plan, but you must listen, and I will give you instructions to lead a life of victory! Greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world! (1 John 4:4)
