Testimony:
For more than nine years I have been honoring all three -feast during the year, Passover, Pentecost, and Feast of Tabernacles with a First Fruits offering as commanded in the Word of God. We are to Celebrate with A ‘First Fruits Offering’ before the Lord, Passover, Pentecost, and the Day of Atonement. I am ‘Debt Free with a lot of discipline’, I am walking in Great Favor and Abundant Blessings and I believe every word of this devotional along with my faithfulness to tithe and give is the reason for what I am witnessing God do. No longer am I a slave to debt. ‘I am inviting you to prove God by honoring His Word with your First Fruits Offering and see what He will do for you!’ Judy
First Fruits of Pentecost
Three times a year shall all your males appear before the Lord your God in the place which He chooses: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, (Passover) at the Feast of Weeks, (Pentecost) and the Feast of Tabernacles or Booths. They shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed: Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you. (Deuteronomy 16:16-17 Amplified)
My child fifty days after Passover is the Holiday of the Feast of Pentecost in the Hebrew it means (Shavuot). What is Pentecost? The birthday of the church! When the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all in one accord in one place. So suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. Moreover, they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (Acts 2:1-4) What is the Holy Ghost? It is a gift from God (Dunamis – Power) a driving force to help you do what you cannot do in your own power – it will empower you to be bold and accomplish My grand plan for you. Pentecost is one of three Holidays that is to be celebrated every year. Teach your children to obey My Word and keep My commands. The first Holiday is The Feast of Unleavened Bread (Passover), Feast of Weeks (Pentecost), and the Feast of Tabernacles, which are to be celebrated with First Fruits Offerings for the promise to come – It is a powerful symbolic reminder of My grace, favor, and protection for you and directly corresponds to My Resurrection. The celebration of First Fruits Offering occurs on each of these holidays. No one is to appear before the Lord empty-handed. On each of these holy occasions, all must give as each is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God, which I have given you. Honor the Lord your God with your wealth, with the First Fruits of all your increase. Then the Priest is to wave the offering back and forth as it is Holy unto God- they are to wave it SOS immediately to get God’s attention, and you will receive your harvest within the same season. I’m praying and waving your offering before the Lord for your immediate harvest. I ask God to release Now over you & your family the Blessing this year: I am called the First Fruits of many. My resurrection marked the beginning of the great harvest of souls, extended to all nations!
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. When you enter the land, I am giving you, and you harvest its first crops, bring the Priest a bundle of grain from the first cutting of your grain harvest. On the day after the Sabbath, the Priest will lift it before the Lord so that it may be accepted on your behalf. (Leviticus 23:9-11 NLT) The celebration of the First Fruits Offering follows three days later. This is the second of three major First Fruits Offerings (Deut. 16:16). The High Priest would lift up this barley offering to the Lord and wave it back and forth. It is a powerful and symbolic reminder of God’s grace, favor, and protection, and directly corresponds to the Resurrection of the Lord. Jesus is called the Firstfruits of many brethren (Romans 8:29, 1 Cor. 15:20-23). His resurrection marked the beginning of the great harvest of souls which would extend to all nations. (Matthew 28:19)
