Impartation of Power
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name. At the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
(Philippians 2:9-11 NKJV)
My beloved child, I have given you authority to take dominion over the enemy and walk in the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. There is power in the name of Jesus! There is power in the blood of Jesus! There is power in the Word of God! Speak the Word only and defeat the enemy. Jesus defeated the enemy in the wilderness forty days and nights by speaking the Word of God only, and you will too! It is written, ‘submit yourself to God resist the devil, and he will flee – turn and run from you!’ (James 2:19)
One day Jesus was in Capernaum teaching with authority, and in the middle of the meeting, a man demonically possessed screamed, ‘what business do you have here with us, Jesus? I know what you’re up to! You are the Holy One of God, and you’ve come to destroy us! (Luke 4:31-34) Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” When the demon had thrown him in the midst, it came out of him and did not hurt him. Then they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, “What a word this is! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.” (Luke 4:35-36)
Allow Me to work My will in you. Yell out loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper. Say a quiet yes to Me, the Lord your God, and I’ll be there in no time. Quit dabbling in sin! Purify your inner life! Quit playing the field. Hit bottom and cry your eyes out. The fun and games are over. Get serious, really serious. Humble yourself, get on your knees before the Me; it’s the only way you’ll get on your feet. (James 4:7-10)
You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless? (James 2:19-20) There is only one way. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6). Arise and walk in the power and authority that raised Jesus from the dead!
