Prayer Severing Ties of Wrong Relationships
Gracious Heavenly Father, The Scripture says that we will know the truth and the truth will set us free. (John 8:32) Lord, help me to acknowledge You in all my ways. (Proverbs 3:6) Believing that You are the way, the truth, and the life, I enter into Your presence with this prayer. (John 14:6) Create in me a clean heart O’ God and renew a right spirit within me. (Psalms 51:10) Produce in me a pure heart, O Lord, and sanctify me totally as I surrender my life to You. Father, I confess and repent for I have sinned against You through this relationship which is against Your will and I have come short of Your glory. (1 John 1:9, Psalms 103:12) But out of Your divine grace and mercies, save me and sanctify me. Your grace is sufficient for me. (2 Corinthians 12:9) Heavenly Father I thank you for meeting all my needs at this hour of despair. (Philippians 4:19) I take authority over the fear of being alone and release peace and the Love of Christ. (2 Timothy 1:7) My identity is only found in Christ alone.
Help me to seek Your face always and give You the first preference as the Bible says, “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to me.” (Matthew 6:33) Father, accept me graciously into Your fold once more and remember my sins no more. Help me to renounce this wrong relationship once and forever and stand strong as I break the soul ties. I sever at the root, curse and renounce the soul ties between me and ____, and in the place of the soul ties fill me up with the Word. As I study the Word, it is the Word of God that has the power to heal and restore me. (Jeremiah 17:14, Psalms 107:20)
I thank you for giving me the gift of goodbye! I declare I will not have favor with ____ and they do not have favor with me. Give me wisdom and discernment. (James 1:5-8) Jesus only allowed the twelve disciples in His inner circle. (Matthew 10:2-4, Mark 3:16-19, Luke 6:12-19, Acts 1:13) Give me discernment in business and personal to know whom I am connected to by the spirit to bring into my inner circle. Help me to guard my heart for out of it flows the issues of life or a wellspring of life. (Proverbs 4:23) I long to be a wellspring everywhere I go!
Let not my sins have dominion over me. I subject all my thoughts under Your divine control. Help me listen to Your sweet still small voice as I trust in You, (Psalms 46:10) Your grace and loving-kindness. Help me to fix my gaze on You alone Proverbs 4:25) and keep me from the lust of eyes, lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. (1 John 2:16) Make me be holy even as You are holy. (1 Peter 1:15) I believe that You have heard my cry and will keep me in Your perfect grace from now on moving forward. I ask this in the holy righteous name of Jesus Christ on the authority of the Word of God. Amen.
