Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life
My beloved child, everything starts with your thoughts! Your thoughts activate the creating process, whether darkness or light. Take every thought captive the moment you have it. If you meditate on a lie from the enemy – it becomes a stronghold. Your thoughts activate which Kingdom you’re walking in! Jesus said, ‘I only say what My Father tells me to say.’ (John 12:49 NKJV) Change your thinking, and you will change your world! Renew your mind.
Memorize and meditate on scriptures, and you will transform your thoughts. If the devil controls your thoughts by the lies he whispers in your ear; he can force you to live in the Kingdom of darkness. Your thoughts are the door to the Kingdom of God – thoughts rule your world. Do not let sin control your puny body any longer; do not give in to its sinful desires. (Romans 6:12 NLT) When you change the way, you think you can see you have this light shining in your heart, but you are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. Your great power is from Me, not from self. (2 Corinthians 4:17 NLT)
The trial/persecution upon you now is temporary, and it’s there to pull you back into darkness. It can last a year or a day – it all depends on how long it takes you to take your thoughts captive. The Apostle Paul wasn’t shaken because he was in prison! Why? Because the Kingdom of God was in Paul. He said, ‘Always be full of joy in the Lord; I say it again, rejoice! Let everyone see that you are unselfish and considerate in all you do. Remember that the Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus. And now, brothers, as I close this letter, let me say this one more thing: Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right.
Think about pure and lovely things and dwell on the fine, good things in others. Think about all you can praise God for and be glad. Keep putting into practice all you learned from me and saw me doing, and the God of peace will be with you.’ (Philippians 4:4-9 LB) Paul was clear which Kingdom he lived in. Which Kingdom do you live in? You can change your thinking, and you will change your world!
