John Saw
My beloved child have you ever considered how John must have felt in the Book of Revelations when he had all these amazingly beautiful visions? John saw jasper walls; (Revelations 21:18) shining streets of gold so pure, and transparent as glass where the saints of God will stroll, he gazed upon the pearly gates with beauty so rare. (Revelations 21:21) John gazed upon the Heavenly throne – oh my, what a vision! A faithful disciple, John had a vision, and he saw the Throne of God, the four living creatures, and in the middle of the elders stood a Lamb. (Revelations 5:6-14) John saw a land and a river flowing there. (Revelations 22:1)
John heard a voice from Heaven say, ‘I will brush your tears away! No death shall enter there, no grief, or pain for us to bear.’ (Revelations 21:4) And I heard a voice from Heaven telling me to write, ‘Blessed are the dead – those who die in the Lord from that moment to the return of Christ. ‘Yes, says the Spirit, ‘they will rest from their labors, for their deeds will follow them. (Revelations 14:13) And John looked and saw a white cloud and seated on the cloud was One like the Son of Man, with a golden crown on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand. (Revelations 14:14-15) Oh, how I long to see the streets of gold, walls of jasper, and the gates of pearl, however more than anything, I long to see Jesus face to face, the One who died for me.
John saw a lamb sitting on the throne. (Revelations 5:13, 7:10) A lamb is the most defenseless of all animals. Lambs are weak and must be protected by their mother but also a shepherd. In the vision, John saw a Lamb sitting on the Throne of God, a symbol of My Son Jesus Christ, who reigns overall. In this world, it would make sense if a lion were sitting on the throne because it is strong, aggressive, and violent – not a lamb because they are the most powerless of all animals, yet a Lamb sits on the throne with power over everything.
When you have committed your heart to Christ Jesus – He rules and reigns over your life. The Kingdom of God doesn’t operate like the laws of this world. Thy Kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. (Matthew 6:10) To prosper in Me the Lord your God, you must learn the Secrets of the Kingdom. (Matthew 13:11) Everything in this world is ruled by the strong, but the spotless Lamb rules the Kingdom of God. Pay attention, for I am giving you a secret to the Kingdom: if you are strong now, you will be weak in the Kingdom. If you are weak now, you will be strong; if you receive, you must let go – if you lower yourself, you will be exalted. (Matthew 23:12, James 4:10) If you become little, you will be great; if you lose yourself, you will find yourself, and if you surrender your all to Me, you will prevail. If you die to yourself, you will find life everlasting in abundance. (Romans 8:13)
My Son died and found life – when you die, if you have accepted My Son as Your Lord and Savior, you will find life. As He surrendered His all, He prevailed to overcome this world – if you walk in His footsteps, you shall prevail and overcome! Live today and everyday like the Lamb of God – let go so that you will have, surrender, and you will overcome! You are an overcomer by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony! (Revelations 12:11)
