Faith Over Fear
Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ. (Philippians 4:6-7 Passion Translation)
My beloved child be careful- for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. (Philippians 4:6 KJV). Have you ever been consumed with worry – staying awake at night, thinking, trying to figure out how you will make it, making yourself anxious, then reaching for your Bible out of desperation to find a scripture to give you peace? The enemy has come to attack you with a spirit of fear! Your mind is the devil’s playground. He is whispering lies in your ear. Stop meditating on his lies. The Word of God says, ‘Meditate on the Word of God day and night and be sure to do everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:7-9) Stop meditating on the devils lies, agree with God and His Word speaking it. Jesus was in the wilderness for forty days and forty nights tempted by the devil. He had not eaten, and He was hungry. The devil said, ‘if you’re the Son of God, turn this rock into a piece of bread and eat. Jesus said, ‘it is written… (and He declared a scripture- memorize scripture as ammunition to use when your thoughts are attacked) Jesus said, ‘it is written… ‘man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’ (Matthew 4:1-4) That means you have to be saying what God says. What are you saying? (Memorize scripture to use as ammunition when the devil attacks your thoughts and tell Mr. Devil – your short, your ugly, your toothless, your powerless and you are a liar and the father of lies! Then thump him off your shoulder and speak the Word! The only thing the devil can do is roar making a lot of noise, yet you listen to Him over Me!
Trust Me to provide everything you need! Declare into the atmosphere, and this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 NLT) For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. (1 Timothy 1:7 NLT) It will help if you discipline yourself by taking authority and dominion over the lying spirit that keeps trying to wrap his life draining tentacles in you, whispering in your ear telling you-you’re not going to make it. Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy you, but I have come to give you a life with abundance. (John 10:10 KJV) I am a good Father, and I will take care of you. Trust Me! Instead of carrying this heavy load of burdens, take the first step as Paul advises you, ‘Come close to the Lord in prayer, and He will come close to you’! (James 4:8 NLT) When you come close to Me, face to face, why don’t you give Me this load you are carrying and let Me resolve it? I didn’t create you to carry heavy loads. Wait for Me to provide you with instructions, I will tell you what to do next, and I give you favor and bring resolution to all your concerns. However, you must let go of the load and Trust Me!
Whoever gives pays attention to instruction prospers and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord. (Proverbs 16:20 NIV). Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the Peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV) I will fill you with sweet peace from your head to your toes, but you must decide to Trust Me and not listen to the enemy of your destiny.
Declare this with me:
I declare and decree the Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? (Psalms 118:6) The Lord is with me He goes with me everywhere I go, and He will not leave me until He has fulfilled all His promises. (Genesis 28:15) I declare I will no longer meditate on my thoughts (lies the enemy whispers in my ear) I will meditate and declare the Word of the Lord. (Scriptures) Joshua 1:8-9) Now thanks be to God, who always causes me to triumph. (2 Corinthians 2:14) I will not be moved by what I see or hear, I walk by faith not by sight in the all-powerful name of Jesus. (2 Corinthians 5:7)
