Justice Says, ‘Equal!’

My precious child Christ Jesus, My Son, redeemed you from the curse pronounced by the law when He died on the Cross at Calvary. He took upon Himself all sin, so you don’t have to, and you can live and walk in freedom! (Galatians 3:13) No matter how great you have sinned when you come to Christ in repentance, He will forgive you of all your sins (1 John 1:9) and bury them into the sea of forgetfulness and remember them no more. (Psalms 103:12) At that moment, He wipes away your past and gives you a brand-new beginning! Free as a bird from the chains that had you bound! Jesus’ sacrificial death removed you from living under the curse. His final plan was to place you in His family as His child and free you from your miserable living conditions. God is merciful! God is Justice! Mercy means not giving someone something they deserve, and Justice means giving something they do deserve. How in the world can God give someone what he deserves and, at the same time, not give him what he deserves? God is fully just and fully merciful at the same time. These are some of the attributes of God. Attributes are things God is – not just what he does or what he has, and He is merciful and just all the time.

”You’re familiar with the law, ‘Love your friend,’ and its unwritten companion, ‘Hate your enemy.’ I’m challenging that. I’m telling you to love your enemies. Let them bring out the best in you, not the worst. When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the energies of prayer, for then you are working out of your true selves, your God-created selves. God does that. He gives his best – the sun to warm and the rain to nourish – to everyone, regardless: the good and bad, the nice and nasty. (Matthew 5:43-45) God is 100% justice; that is why He is just. He is 100% mercy; that is why He is merciful. God has all knowledge and is all-knowing – omniscience. He is all-powerful – He is omnipotent! God is everywhere at all times – He is omnipresent! He is 100% grace and truth at all times. God gave the law through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. (John 1:17) His attributes do not war against each other. God is merciful on every soul – Jesus paid the price for our sins, and God gave Jesus what we deserve. It is both God’s mercy and Justice that sends you to heaven. God is just in sending you to heaven because God gave His Son ALL of your punishment. Were you sentenced to hell, (condemned) to eternal death? Condemned means a death sentence. You now have been sentenced to heaven! You have to go to heaven now because Jesus took your punishment on the cross when you accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord. You deserved to die, but Jesus took your punishment.

The Lord isn’t slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed but wants everyone to repent. (2 Peter 2:9) The root word justice means ‘equal.’ There are several words in the bible for sins, such as iniquity and transgression. Sin means you missed the mark. (Exodus 10:16, Galatians 5:17, Romans 3:23) Iniquity is deeper rooted – it is a premeditated choice without repentance. (2 Samuel 11:3-4, 12:9, Micah 2:1, Psalms 51:2) Transgression is to disobey intentionally. (Numbers 6:1-5, Judges 14:8-9, 16:17, Psalms 32:1, 5) Most people know that the word iniquity is a sin but look closely at the meaning of an iniquity. Iniquity means not equal to God. Sin is not equal with God because He doesn’t sin. He is perfect. Have you ever seen the Scales of Justice, and do you know how they work? The scales represent: on one side, the prosecutor and the defense both put all their evidence on the same side, and the judge rules from the other side.

God puts all your good and bad on the scales, and He sits on the other side because He is merciful. Simply put, God is on one side of the scales, and I am on the other, and I cannot do anything about it, except one thing I can invite Jesus into my heart and repent of my sins! When Jesus gets on the scales with me, and the scales of Justice says equal! Equal! Equal! He is merciful! He is just! He is sovereign!

Pray this out loud over your day:

Father God, I come boldly before your throne (Hebrews 4:16) and thank you for this beautiful day as I dedicate it to You! I declare and decree on the authority of the Word of God I am healthy, I am wealthy in every area of my life, and I am wise beyond my years. I have great discernment and receive revelation as I study the Word of God. I boldly confess I am loved, called and chosen. I am anointed, appointed, equipped and enabled by the power of the Holy Spirit that works mightily within me. I am a carrier of the fire of the Holy Ghost igniting the flame in others, everywhere I go. I declare and decree I live, breathe, move and serve powerfully under the shelter of the Jehovah Yahweh. (Psalms 91)

I declare:

I believe God’s Word is true and I am who God’s Word says I am, I can have what God’s Word says I have. I can do what God’s Word says I can do. I am rich in every way and generous on every occasion. There is no lack in Heaven, I remove every block and hinderance releasing all the resources with my name on it. I say laborers come forth to help me build the Kingdom of God therefore it is established in Jesus name. (Matthew 9:35-38) I am the child of a King, therefore I will not leave home without wearing my invisible crown. I am healed and whole in every area of my life. God has called me to be a healer and deliverer to set His people free from every form of earthly bondage. He has chosen me to pull leaders up, push them out and position them for their purpose and calling as Jesus did. I have entered the ‘Rest of God’ and I am staying in that peaceful place and I declare I will not allow the enemy to rock my world.(Hebrews 4:1-16) Peace belongs to me because I am a blood bought daughter of a King, therefore I trust you Abba Father. I value and sense Your presence today Father. The Holy Spirit lives within me, He goes before me, walks beside me and He is my rear guard. (Isaiah 58:8, Isaiah 52:12) You O’ Lord order my steps and my stops. (Psalms 37:23)

I Declare:

I declare and decree on the authority of the Word of God I am favored, I have favor with both God and man in all I do in Jesus name. I am blessed and highly favored of the Lord, (Proverbs 3:3-4) divine spiritual order is in my home, body, life and family. I am renewing my mind daily, disciplining myself by washing it with the Word. I guard my heart for out of me flows a well spring of life not the issues of life because I am healed and whole in every area of my life because You O’ Lord are the CEO and President of my life. I declare divine protection and restoration over my family and I today. Divine appointments are happening every where I go.

I Declare:

I declare and decree that No weapon formed against my family and I can prosper or succeed and every tongue that (speaks against) rises up against us in judgement we condemn it, for this is the heritage of the children of the Most High God. (Isaiah 54:17) I declare and decree that me and my house shall be saved, every single member of my family, not one member of my family will perish in Jesus name. I release them now to the Father and I trust you Father God with them. (Acts 6:31) I walk by faith and not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7) I trust God with everything that goes on in my life and with each member of my family because God is at work turning all things around for my good and His glory because I love Him. (Romans 8:28) I seal my declarations with the Blood of Jesus, the Word of God and the Holy Spirit which empowers me therefore it is established this day in the Holy Righteous name of Jesus. Amen.
